I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Illinois and I have been providing psychotherapy and counseling services for over 15 years. I work with adults (18 and older) experiencing trauma, anxiety and panic, mood, and adjustment disorders, along with stress, attachment, self-esteem, communication, and relationship issues.
My therapy style is warm and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert of your own story and your many strengths will assist you in overcoming and healing from things that stress, hurt, and challenge you. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect; regardless of what makes us different.
My counseling approach is eclectic and incorporates client-centered, trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, narrative, and solution-focused therapies. I tailor all counseling and treatment plans to meet your unique and personal goals.
I understand it takes courage to take the first step toward healing, growing, and wellness. I am here to support and guide you in that process and your mental health journey.
I look forward to working with you!

When I'm not in a therapy session or the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and chasing our three children. I love to travel and have been to over 10 different countries around the world. Culture and diversity are a big part of my life - I value uniqueness and enjoy learning about what makes us all different!
I am a great-grandchild of immigrants, a first-generation college graduate, and the product of the dreams of my ancestors. I value hard work and grit and know full well that we all don't start at the same line or have the same experiences, resources, connections, or opportunities.
I enjoy creating art and listening to music. I like to be in nature and enjoy walking and hiking; especially in the Rocky Mountains.
I believe we are created with a divine purpose and spirituality is a big part of my life. I am very introspective and believe every day is an opportunity to learn. I try to live out my core values in thoughts and actions. And then the next day, I try again!
